L’Atelier de L’architecte

The architect’s studio, a loft above our agency, is both a workspace and a sanctuary. Conceived as an ‘éloge of shadow,’ it draws inspiration from African and Camargue influences, celebrating the pleasure of hospitality and the art of gentle living. The interior architecture blends modernity and boldness with a primitive materiality, where wood, stone, and raffia compose a timeless palette of textures.

This project is the extension of our agency through a rooftop addition, so seamlessly integrated into the town that longtime residents forget this floor is entirely new. Standing above the former post relay and olive mill of Saint-Rémy, it is a place steeped in history that continues to evolve.

The resolutely contemporary terrace, a new landmark in the city, offers breathtaking views of the Alpilles and the gardens of Hôtel de Provence.
