Le jardin de charme à Maussane-les-Alpilles

Is it possible to achieve an effect of privacy almost in the center of the village?

For this holiday house, closely surrounded by neighbors, we were dreaming to create the feeling of intimacy and well-being. Like there’s no one else around (even though there are).

In order to reach this impression, we’ve focused our efforts on landscape design, aimed to hide the house from others. Wonderful garden in its blooming now creates a special atmosphere, both magic and romantic, for everyone who enters inside. Is it possible to achieve an effect of privacy almost in the center of the village? CopyThe large oak tree together with olive trees protects visitors both from the scorching heat and prying eyes. The Pierre de Ronsard climbing roses softly frames the entrance to the house. From the front door, around the house goes a narrow path, which is literally drowning in the acanthus thickets. The path leads to the pool area, surrounded by the Mediterranean garden. Inner garden with the pool is more open to the sun. Given the size of the territory, an effective planning has been crucial for the comfort of the owners and their guests. We’ve considered several relaxing and dining zones hidden under the pergola or the rooftop. The whole pool area, – carefully covered by cypress and olive trees, filled in with the gorgeous cactuses and tender flowers, – creates special vibe both calm and secluded. The large oak tree together with olive trees protects visitors both from the scorching heat and prying eyes.
